Short description

The unique feature of the Chill Lounge® as a premium sun garden is the insulated and thermo-insulated roof construction. Through the insulating glazing in the uninsulated and filigree sliding systems on each side and in the front, you capture the first warming rays of the sun with the greatest possible transparency.

The living idea of the Chill Lounge® creates a place for moments of relaxation. With this type of glass extension, homeowners gain an additional sunny side. Because almost all year round you spend your leisure hours warm and dry – facing the sun, protected from wind and weather, but still like being outdoors.

Several extras and an outstanding premium quality allow the Chill Lounge® to be used almost all year round, even in wind, rain or cold temperatures.

The Chill Lounge® with its variable opening options combines the open character of a covered terrace and the charm of a bright, light room with protection from the influence of the weather. Whether garden party or indoor celebration – all elements can be opened extensively or closed windproof.

During the summer months you can create a pleasant indoor climate when you are absent and the chill lounge is closed, by using ventilation systems and a weather-controlled rooftop awning. This also benefits your plants.

The garden becomes a “second living room”, with all its calming green, the lawn and the plants. Long before and also long after the end of the warm season, you can sit in the middle of the garden.

A wonderful increase in space – providing more for your personal relaxation. The moments of relaxation now have a special place! The sun garden of the premium class – the Chill Lounge®.

Temporarily operated heating elements, a lockable door on both sides as well as additional ventilation elements or vents complete the Chill Lounge® to the perfect wellness location.

What you should know!

What does snow load mean?

Snow has a weight that weighs on the roofing. To determine the weight that is likely to be the maximum load on your roofing, it is necessary to consider the following:

the snow load zone
Additions to the snow load zone (North German Lowlands, Harz Island etc.)
the height above sea level
the installation situation (snow accumulation possible?)

To be able to select the profiles and (if necessary) steel reinforcements for your roofing to match the determined snow load, you also need to know the following:

the size of the roofing
the distances between the posts (the larger, the more stable the gutter / eaves profile must be)
the width of the fields (on how many rafters is the total weight distributed?)
the length of the rafters (=roof depth)
and then it is also important whether windows / doors should be under the roof. If so, the supports must be designed in such a way that the wind loads can be absorbed.
